Would be great to view the Planner tasks from within Teams on iOS.
This could be a killer app but looks like MS has other priorities
Planner may not be 100% ready for prime time, but has it even moved into general release, yet? I subscribed to the UserVoice for Planner to read comments, and I'd have to say 70-80% are complaints about what hasn't happened yet, anger with Microsoft for not moving faster -- or "ignoring" a specific issue with Planner as in "how could they be such idiots for ignoring the feature most important to me."
Jeesh! I am unsubscribing from this UserVoice, because I am tired of seeing all the whining about a product that has a lot of potential -- and I feel bad for the product team tasked with developing Planner having to deal with such incredible incivility.
Could Microsoft do better? Sure! And with unlimited money and resources, you can accomplish great things. But I doubt the Planner team has unlimited budget and resources -- not to mention they are integrating the product within the Office 365 Groups environment, which likely includes other product teams.
For my part, guys, I think you are doing admirable work, and I bet the majority of the folks looking at the potential of Planner feel the same way. That's not to discount the need to get further along, and integrate with other products. Perhaps if you were to do ONE thing a LOT better, it would be to communicate your direction more effectively back to this UserVoice board.
Best of luck and great success to everyone here in the New Year!

we also have moved off of planner and moved to another service do to lack of response, updates and mobile app.
Due to lack of information from Microsoft we decided to go back to Trello and wont come back to this service even if it ever gets updated. We cant rely on a service where there is no respons after 1 year. This customer feedbackforum is really bad. Sorry.
You have to break away from the confusing **** that comes with share point. You are confusing the **** out of your customers. Build your tool off of Wunderlist. It is a better UI and is 1000% better. I cannot get my teams to buy into planner because it creates a group....this is confusing because we use Yammer and they do not know what to do. Now we have teams and they are asking what is happening to Yammer. One drive, too, needs to be like box or Dropbox...if not...consider it dead.People....share point needs to go away or somewhere else.
I Heard this ETA from a Microsoft Ignite in a Youtube video: "Early 2017".
ETA Please !
And please have responses if you choose to have this uservoice.com website.
There are serious people assigning for this website, so please respect that.
I desperately need Planner to have mobile functionality so my team will adopt it. Multi user tasks is also greatly appreciated. Please hurry. We needed this yesterday.
What is the app release date?
Wow, one year this Feedback thread and still no info from Microsoft. I guess planner is not the best choice for us.

Please tell me this is coming sometime soon. I check the iOS app store _every_day_. My group (an IT shop) has adopted Planner wholesale and this is the missing link. We can't really think about pushing it out to the entire organization until tasks can be updated on mobile.

The mobile version on my smartphone via browser is quite good, but the upper part of the website (with links to office apps etc.) takes to much space; so when keyboard pops out, the writing area is concealed.

This is very inportant for my firm. It would allow us to switch to planner from our current use of Trello. They have a slick ios app.
Thnaks for working hard in the planner iOS App!
Is there any news regarding the app
Do you have an idea about when is it going to be available for iOS?
This is very important because I may not need to use my computer in the meetings, only my iPhone.
