C'mon Microsoft! Really need iOS app, nice to have an iPad centric one also.
Planner is doing ok as a service via web. BUT I really need the app! Also, having planner actions show up as tasks in Outlook would serve my needs well!

Any update? Something? Without a mobile app, planner is useless to us an many others.

Please do not forget the following feature, when you develop the mobile app: The ability to work offline. This is especially important, when you are sitting in a plane and some tasks come up in your mind to be noted. In that case, you need the ability to register these tasks offline and to synchronize them afterwards.
This feature was heavily requested by Trello users for a long time and recently (around 2-4 months ago) also fulfilled. Many users complained about the painful experience of missing such an important ability. -

Why don't you make a wunderlist sync at least?! so we could have a great mobile app with wunderlist? Plans, tasks, sub tasks, dates, comments are all can be mapped to wunderlist. Is it going to be another office 365 collaboration app from Microsoft? Teams, Groups, wunderlist and now planner? Do you guys even talk to each other at Microsoft?

Planner has lots of potential. Want to use Planner to manage roll out Office 365. When can we expect the android app?

Nothing improved in planner since the summer. Give us a status updatr and planned improvements schedule with deadlines!
It started as a great project with a promise but at this stage a very bad clone of trello with bad integration even with the microsoft ecosystem!
What is going on in this project?!

Any news on this? The world revolves on mobile devices, its really hard to work with planner without an app and the webpage format on a phone isnt the easiest to worth with either

Our company is deciding if we should give Planner a try; however with no indication on when iOS app will be available we'll have to pass.
Can you at least give us some indication... Is it coming at all?

Mobile app development was started 1 year ago. Can we expect something soon for Planner on mobile devices?

"We’ve started work" means nothing without ETA.

Maybe this is something already addressed by others: What would be useful is if you could have different levels that can be assigned to users on the top end. i.e. I am the project manager for a launch and I create my plan, add members, assign tasks, etc. My own Line Manager would need to have high-level access across all the project managers and their plans and be able to shift things around as each project progresses.

Hi,
When using Teams desktop app, I expected to have same functionality when using the mobile app.
full - or at least basic - integration of Planner in Teams and Groups mobile app would be perfect. -
