I have used the third party app to import from Excel to planner and completed the creation of plan easily.

The comments are missing, the timeline and modifications are missing, it is missing which subtasks have been completed, etc. etc. Come on, this is not even halfway useable. This export to Excel could have been coded a script-kiddie in 30 minutes with some help of SO...

Please add import from excel as many tasks are collated on excel in the first place and then takes huge effort to import.
Please add import FROM Excel to Planner option or provide with an easy template to set it up from Flow automation.

We find user adoption way easier when we can export the plan at regular intervals and store as a regular excel file. People feel safer using the new system when we have an old school backup

Seems critical to have a function where you're able to import into Planner from Excel. Is this in the works?
Not many offices have time/personnel who can enter one task at a time.
It would be great to be able to import from Excel sheet

adding plan import from Excel would make this a usefull tool
Planner is not useful till we have import from excel functionality
