If a task is late (the due date has passed), please make sure to send a notification to both the owner and anyone related to the task (coworkers, team leader,...).2,403 votes
Thank you for all the feedback. We plan to build a feature that will send due date notifications daily for tasks that are due at various intervals (due in 7 days, due in 3 days, due tomorrow, due today, 1 day overdue etc). How many days before or after (for late tasks) would you like to be notified about tasks that are due? Let us know in the comments.
Calendar integration. Add tasks and their status on a calendar.3,629 votes
Thanks for all the feedback on this item. We have several features planned in this space. The main items we’ll work on first include:
1. Support viewing Planner Tasks on an Outlook Calendar
We will add the ability to turn on an iCalendar feed (.ics feed) for the “My Tasks” view and for each Plan. You can subscribe to this feed in Outlook to see Planner tasks in context with your other events.
2. Create a Calendar/Schedule visualization
We’ll create a new view that allows you to easily view and edit tasks in the context of a calendar.
As noted, we are planning other feature in this space, including deeper integration with Outlook and other parts of Office 365. Let us know in the comments how you’d like to use calendar integration.
Provide the ability to create Plan templates with existing tasks that can then be used to create a new plan
Rather than having to create every plan from scratch it would be good if the system allowed for the creation of Templates with pre-existing tasks (like in Word/Excel). This would allow a new plan and its tasks to be created from a template saving a lot of time.2,266 votes
Hello, thanks for the feedback. This feature is planned on our roadmap. We’ll provide more details as we get closer to starting development.

Thanks for taking the time to try out the Planner iOS App and to provide feedback. We are planning to add notification in a forthcoming update. Some of the types of notifications we’re considering include:
1. Tasks are assigned to you
2. Changes on Tasks Assigned to you
3. Comments on Tasks Assigned to you
Let us know in the comments what sort of notifications you’d like to see in the Planner iOS App.
