  1. Copy Plan to Existing Group

    The ability to copy a Plan was recently released (see link below) but this only provides the ability to copy a plan to a new O365 Group. It does not provide the ability to copy a plan to an existing O365 Group. Most people do not want to create a new O365 Group for every Plan they have (Group sprawl). Please offer an option when copying a Plan to either target an existing Group or a new Group based on your preference.

  2. Notify people assigned to a Task when it is changed/updated or when a comment is captured

    A colleague and I own a task, however when I added a comment and changed the due date on it, I was the only one receiving an email about it, which is really pointless given I know what changes I made and would rather the other people assigned to it received that email/notification/update... Please can this be changed?

  3. Add/Remove Labels, Sort Labels, More Label Colors

    To summarize these requests, we’d like the following:

    1) The ability to add and remove labels.
    2) When the “Group by Labels” option is selected, the ability to change the order of the columns (e.g., “Move right” and “Move left” similar to the “Group by Bucket” column)
    3) In the Task view, the ability to change the order of the label tabs.
    4) The ability to change the color of the labels and add more colors.

  4. A view to see all tasks from planners in all channels in a Team

    You can see all tasks from a Planner in a channel

    But you can't see all tasks from multiple Planners in a channel

    And you can't see all tasks from all the Planners that are created in Team

    Basically you can't get a view from multiple Planners...yes, the My Tasks feature allows you to see your tasks across multiple Planners

    ...but a project lead would be interested in seeing all tasks from the multiple planners that exist in a Team

    The only hack is for the project lead to assign themselves every task, then the problem is you can't filter…

  7. Integrate Planner Notifications with Teams Notifications

    Allow users to choose for planner notifications to show up in Teams rather than in Email. We are using Teams for all inter-office communication and I receive notifications from Teams when I have a message there, but we still receive notifications in our email inboxes when we have a task assigned to us. If all notifications could happen in one location, ie. teams, it would be much simpler for everyone.

  8. Notes in task missing when opening "link to task"

    Hello,
    I copied a link to a task and send it on email to my collegue.
    We noticed that the notes in the task is empty. If I go to the plan and open the task that way, the notes are still there.

    This has been working for a few days ago.
    I also notied that the field has been named "Description" before. Now it is "Notes".

  9. Integrate Planner actions with OneNote

    You can create actions in OneNote from meetings and it would be great if this would link out to Planner.

  10. Allow users to add new Plans to existing Office 365 groups from the New plan option within Planner

    Allow users to add new Plans to existing Office 365 groups from the New plan option within Planner, even if users are not allowed to create O365 groups. Currently, users who are blocked from creating O365 groups can create Plans through a Microsoft Team which will automatically assign it to the Team O365 group. It would be nice if users who are blocked from creating O365 groups still have the option to add a new Plan to an existing O365 group directly from Planner.

  11. Email notifications for Guest users

    Guest users should be notified by e-mail for any new assignments, due dates and late tasks. At the moment, only Members and Owners receive reminders for assigned tasks.

    1. When a task is assigned to a guest, they should receive an e-mail with the information sent to their e-mail address outside of the Office 365 tenant.

    2. Reminders sent to the guest's e-mail address

    3. Updates to the task sent to the guest's e-mail address.

  12. Using @mention in the planner comment box

    Does Microsoft have plans to add on the planner app, under the commenting function, calling out someone, using @mention function?

  14. Task Notifications and @mention in Planner

    1. Notifications to the task creator on any changes to a task's status in planner
    2. Email notifications should include the plan/board that that the task is associated to or a part of
    3. User should be able to @mention other users within a task
    4. User should be able to create private channels within a team

  15. For all comments, email notifications need to be sent to all assigned to that task.

    For all comments, email notifications need to be sent to all assigned to that task. That is the main use of Planner. If team members have completed their task; they can remove themselves from the assigned list, to stop the unwanted emails.

  16. Please add the feature to Import tasks from Excel

    Please, Please. We have tasks that are created from an Access Database for our annual plan. We can then export the tasks from Access to Excel which takes seconds We used to then import these tasks to a task list in SharePoint, but Planner is so much better. We did chose to enter these individually into Planner, but this takes a ton of time!!! Please, Please!!!

  17. Overview of all Tasks created by me

    It would be nice if there was a view where i can see all Tasks which i have created. In the actual Version i have to assign myself to every Task i create to get an overview of all my created tasks.

  18. Give an option for a reminder

    We are using Planner for a Kanban-Board in our Team. Tasks, which need to be discussed, in our regular meeting, are marked as "tbd".

    Some tasks are taking a long time to be finished, so that an automated reminder (7 | 14 | 21 | etc. days) could help, to inform about the status, when the task wasn`t set to "tbd" for a long time.

  20. CREATE PARENT TASK, CHILDREN(SUB TASKS), GRANDCHILDREN (SUB TASKS OF SUB TASKS)

    Like in MS Project, we need to create the Parent Task and Sub-Tasks and Sub-Tasks of Sub Tasks and so on. If I am creating a webpage I need to create the Parent Task HOME and all sub-tasks (elements) that are included in HOME PAGE. Sub-Tasks of Sub Tasks would be the Sub Pages from the Parent HOME Page and so on. PARENT Task would have option to add Sub-Tasks. When we see the Parent Task we will also able to see all the sub-tasks list. If there are Sub-Tasks of Sub-Tasks we would also see in Parent task. This…
