It should be possible to send comments in the task to a specific person with a notification. Like: @John check the orders today.

I think it would be helpful and beneficial for there to be the same notifications when I assign something to myself. I need those reminders, just like when I assign a task to someone else.

Please provide the ability to brand Planner notification emails with the tenant company name and logo. Planner notification emails are from Microsoft Planner, and have the Microsoft logo in the body and the footer, which causes users to believe that the emails are either phishing, spam, or marketing emails. The ability to customize the Planner email template with company branding would greatly enhance the functionality of the notifications. Thanks for your consideration.

I have one plan very detail on the planner, but each task have a checklist, one checklist can have until 8 activities, and there are some of these activities (in some cases all of them), that I need control with help of notification about its deadline, similar to task. my suggestion is to enable an option where I can put a stardate and finish date whit automatic notification in outlook.

Add title of plan to email notifications. Sometimes individuals are part of multiple plans and notifications can become confusing.

When assigning a task to someone who has out of office set, the person assigning should get the out of office notification.

It would be great if you could implement a feature to receive the notification in the shared mailbox when a task is assigned.

I am a co-assignee to a task and I want to make a comment related to the active task. Do not see the need to be getting these comments on my email when I made the comment myself. Can this be changed?

Most planners need to pre-assign resources before the project is approved and they have conversations with those individuals.It would be helpful to have a project stage (like pre-planning) where you can build these tasks and then when you move it to another stage (Planning) the tasks notifications are sent.

It will be good to have notification / reminders time period customization so that team can adjust it to meet project specific requirements. Currently, there is only 7 day option but ideally user/owner should be able to edit the timeline when system should push these notifications out for tasks.

we have on prem exchange (2016) with hybrid configuration. We have successfully configured mailflow between O365 and On prem exchange. But our planner task notifications emails are not working for our users which is a huge problem because we have project going live next month and we wanted them to work . I understand officially planner is not supported with on prem exchange as per MS article but is there any other workaround we can use?

How can the e-mails be limited to only people assigned to the task?

I need to be able to define a specific reminder time whenever I set up a task in order to be alerted exactly when the task is due.

When creating a planner event, the only way to get notifications is either through email or logging into a separate app. I would like to be able to set a timestamp for the task to start (not just a date) and be able to receive an alert on my desktop teams app I am logged into so I can be alerted when a task begins as well as when it is about to expire along with the past due alerts.

We are not receiving any notifications when any plan is getting deleted. This should be there to make admins aware of the changes.
