An option to choose the first day of the week in all calendars
When switching between my Outlook calendar and the calendars used to assign the start date and due date, I was momentarily confused because the calendar alignment was not the same. It would be nice if there was an option to choose the first day of the week.

Use international date format dd/mm/yyyy in planner!!!!!!!!!
Stop auto formatting to US dates! Microsoft you sell all over the planet, stop being so autocratic, dictatorial and insular!!!

Respect Office 365 Language settings
Currently (22. Jan 2016), the UI is in my local language, but my Office 365 settings specify English, please use that and the official language in my region.

Planner should follow date format defined in Office 365 environment
Currently I have Office 365 environment set for Portuguese (Brazil) and date format as DD/MM/YYYY. However Planner tasks display a weird format.
For example, a taks started on Dezember 7 should display "07/12/2016". What I get in Planner is "07/de 12".
Planner should simply follow the Office 365 date configuration format.

Enable date format settings on the Edit Planner popup
Please enable date format and locale settings to be entered when creating a new Plan or editing a Plan from the Planner hub.
At the moment, the only way of controlling the date formatting and locale in Planner is by inheriting the settings from a parent Team or SharePoint Site's settings. This is fine if you only ever visit the Plan from the SP or Team page, but when reminder emails pop into my mailbox and I click on the task link, or if the Plan is created from the Planner Hub, the dates come up in the default US…

Clean up localization issues
My team is located in several different geos. When a user in Denmark creates or updates a task, the notifications are sent with Danish UI. Additionally, when a user in Denmark sends a link to a planner item, that link includes the local language coding .. and opens the planner in Danish ... which is fine if you are Danish .. but not so good if you are using Office 365 in en-us .. ... so ... links, notifications etc. should be agnostic of localization ..

Make Planner conform to date format settings for Office 365.
Date shows in US format despite the rest of Office 365 using UK format

Add "translate" feature like in chats and conversations
Under the ellipses allow users to 'translate' tasks that may be created in another language much like chats and conversations.

multilanguage notifications
Notifications are sent in the language of the Planner portal the user uses to create a task. For Global Accounts/ international teams this is not going to work. Ability to set default language required.

Finnish date formatting need correction
It's nice that O365 and Planner are localized into Finnish but unfortunately the dates have gone a bit wrong:
I can see dates like '31. toukota' which is meaningless for you can't add the partitive case ending (-ta) to the shortened form of the name of the month (touko). You could do that with the full name of the month (toukokuu --> toukokuuta), but best would be to use the short form of dd.mm.yyyy.

Please enable us to use British style of dates i.e. 3rd July is 03/07 not 07/03 - really confusing for those of us not using a US format!

Planner language should reflect the user settings in o365
The Planner should start in den language the user is setting for and not allways in english.
Also when user switch from Teams zu full Planner view the language should remain the same an not change allways to english.8 votes -
Planner Notification - localisation of dates in email
Would like localisation of the dates in the notification email because at the moment it's in MM/DD/YY format. This will cause confusion for my UK users.

Time zone configuration for files in a Planner Site are not according to user Time zone
Time zone in the files site for a planner board should be according to user time zone and not to the data center time zone.
The planner boad time zone is working like that but not the files site.

Colourize the buckets please and let this clour show up in the schedule view in the calender and also let it shine through if outllok added. Also let people mark the task with the marking colours and add them as little bars to the main colour of the bucket. Also let more people be assigned to one task. and let people be adigned to spedific document attached and the checklist created.

Fix tasks.office.com always taking me to the en-US version when I have set everything possible to be en-AU in office 365
If I visit tasks.microsoft.com, I end up at
https://tasks.office.com/XXXX.com.au/en-US/Home/Planner/I'm in Australia. The only way to get our date format is for me to then change the URL to
https://tasks.office.com/XXXX.com.au/en-AU/Home/Planner/
It's really annoying when links to tasks like
https://tasks.office.com/XXXX.com.au/Home/Task/RandomStuffHerethen direct me to the US version of Planner. Could I set this as a preference somewhere, or could you just infer it from our Office 365 tenancy or associated SharePoint sites?

Bad French translation for Add asignment
The "Ajouter un devoir" expression in French is badly chosen. It means "Add a homework". What is meant is "Assign to someone" which should be written "Assigner à quelqu'un"

Make Planner multi-geo
We are a large international company and have data residency requirements. Can we have Planner available for multi-geo selection so content doesn't come to the US always?
